Undergraduate course awarded Screenskills Select status

We’re thrilled to announce that our BA (Hons) Film Production degree has been awarded endorsement from Screenskills Select.

ScreenSkills is the industry-led skills body for the screen industries in the UK. By providing training and investing in a skilled and inclusive workforce, they support the continued growth and future innovation of the UK’s film, television, VFX, animation and games industries that is critical to their global success.

As well as being listed among the ScreenSkills Select courses guaranteed to provide students with the best preparation for industry, this endorsement allows our students and staff to directly access a greater range of resources from them, and provides more opportunities to build connections, share ideas and create networking opportunities within the industry.

Course Leader Sophie Jackson said: “We are thrilled to have had the industry-focused nature of the course formally recognised by ScreenSkills. It gives confidence to incoming students that, not only will they have the full university experience of developing their own creative and intellectual selves, they will also be graduating with skills the film, television and screen industries needed for career starters.”
