Be part of a creative industries resource for young people
If you're an alumni of one of our creative industries courses, and now work in the creative industries, the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) are offering you the chance to create a short film (2-4 minutes long) based on your experiences.
You must submit your film before 28 February 2021. If your film is accepted you will receive a payment of £30, as well as seeing it published on the Take Your Place website.
Together, these films will form a collection that shows young people from the East Anglian region the diversity of creative jobs available in the area, as well as the range of subjects they can study at University. Selected films will also be published on ARU's own YouTube channel and online platforms.
For full details, please download the filmmakers' brief.
Take Your Place is part of UniConnect - a partnership formed by ARU, Norwich University of the Arts, University of East Anglia, University of Suffolk, and the University of Cambridge, with Cambridge acting as the lead partner. The programme works closely with schools and colleges in the region to identify and support students in Years 9-13 from disadvantaged areas. The network deliver a range of targeted outreach activities to raise aspirations, explain the full range of Higher Education options available to students, and provide crucial advice about how to make successful applications.
