Learn how to develop your academic writing habits.

This Pedagogic Research Writing Retreat is for writers who want to further develop writing habits and have protected time for writing. Dr Simon Pratt-Adams and Dr Mark Warnes will facilitate the day, and lead loosely structured activities to support you with your writing and provide suggestions for suitable learning and teaching journals for your publication.

Join one of our one-day pedagogic research writing retreats. These are long, uninterrupted blocks of time for you to work on your academic writing. We offer a tried and tested way for you to gain momentum, stay with your writing tasks, and achieve your goals. Colleagues who have attended CIHE writing retreats really appreciate the gift of time to focus on their writing.
Not only that, but we also offer a supportive environment along with expert guidance and feedback on your writing, as well as advice on getting published. There is also valuable time during the breaks to network and develop collaborations with peers.
We are confident that after attending our writing retreats, your productivity will improve, and you will feel motivated to continue with your writing.
