22 January 2020, 12:00 - 14:30
Join us for TeachMeet 2020 which will have the theme ‘Employability in Practice’.
At TeachMeet - Cambridge, we will welcome keynote Prof Pat Tissington, Academic Director: Employability and Skills, University of Warwick, discussing: "Careers has no place in the curriculum” and other myths.
ARU colleagues will present short presentations on their work in relation to how they incorporate employability into their teaching and students' learning, including some of the challenges and how they have overcome them.
This is a valuable opportunity to network and share practice around a common curriculum theme to support our students to develop graduate capitals.
Book now via Business World using the details below.

Call for proposals
We are currently encouraging colleagues from all faculties and professional services to deliver short presentations/demonstrations (Nano - 2 minutes or micro - 7 minutes) on this theme at the TeachMeets.
We are looking to receive contributions on: how we develop professional knowledge and skills, how active learning promotes social and cultural capital, how authentic assessment and feedback demonstrate student adaptability and resilience, and how a student-centred approach to teaching and learning fosters belonging and professional identity.
