28 April 2020, 13:00 - 13:50
In this Employability in Practice webinar, Jo Outteridge (HEMS), will explore what is meant by reflection and why reflection is important to employability.
Specific challenges in engaging students with effective reflective practice in Higher Education will be considered, along with who can help students to reflect effectively and how they can achieve this.
Once students have reflected on how their learning has enhanced their employability, this needs to be evidenced in a way that students can access to present to future employers.
The use of MyShowcase as a tool at ARU to help students to curate and present their enhanced employability will be shared, with opportunities for discussion of the role of the Personal Development Tutor to support this.
