'A blank page': Radical curricula and the personalisation of learning

9 May 2019, 13:00 - 15:00
Cambridge campus

Join Dr Mark Kerrigan (Honorary Visiting Fellow, CIHE) and his colleagues Christy Johnson (Vice Principal) and Mel Brown (Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader) from Plymouth College of Art for a critical and reflective debate on the rigour and potential challenges of programme development. 'A blank page' will throw out the rulebook and focus on the nature of learning, its learners and their communities. The session will explore the challenges of academia versus the 'rulebook'. The proposition will use a case study and experiential reflections from the presenters to illustrate the issues.

Lunch will be served at 1pm with the seminar starting at 1.30pm.
