Colleagues from across ARU are invited to participate in  TeachMeet 2020  in January where the theme will be Employability in Practice. This annual event will take place on Tuesday 21 January in Chelmsford and Wednesday 22 January in Cambridge from 12.00 to 14.30.

Each TeachMeet will include a keynote with an external speaker followed by ARU colleagues giving micro (7 minutes) and nano (2 minutes) talks and demonstrations on their work in relation to teaching, learning and employability. Those interested in this opportunity to present, and be recognised for it, can submit their proposal via an online form.

“The engagement of academics across the University with the theme of Employability in Practice this year has already revealed how colleagues are creatively engaging their students in developing their professional qualities as a part of their course experience. This TeachMeet will allow us to share some of that academic innovation and discuss more of the ways we can use active curriculum approaches to foster employability in the curriculum and co-curriculum,” says Andrew Middleton, Deputy Head of Anglia Learning & Teaching.
