More about distance learning

Before you apply for a pre-sessional course you must first have been made an offer for an academic course.

For Face-to-Face Pre-Sessional courses, if your academic course is taught at Cambridge this is where you will study your pre-sessional course.  Similarly, if your academic course is in Chelmsford you will normally study your pre-sessional course in Chelmsford.

Studying your pre-sessional course on the same campus as your academic course will give you time to settle in and discover the campus facilities.   You will also get the opportunity to get to know the local area which will be your home for the next year or more.

How to apply

For both Online Pre-Sessional and Face-to-Face Pre-Sessional you will need to send us a copy of your English Test.

For Face-to-Face Pre-Sessional courses, please note that any student requiring a SELT for pre-sessional or study below degree level must ensure that they take their IELTS at an approved test centre. If you're applying from the EU, or if you're an International student applying for the Online Pre-Sessional course, we can accept other English tests.

Please email lsu@anglia.ac.uk for more information.

Please note we can only accept International students on our Face-to-Face Pre-Sessional courses who've applied for a Tier 4 visa.
