In May 2017, students from our BA (Hons) Music, BA (Hons) Popular Music, BA (Hons) Performing Arts and MA Music Therapy worked alongside professional soloists on this production of Britten's Paul Bunyan.
The show took place in our on-campus Mumford Theatre as part of our bi-annual opera series.
The operetta presents the story of the mythical Paul Bunyan as a metaphor for the human struggles of the emerging New World and the personal struggles of the central character Johnny Inkslinger.
