Bookings are now open for the new Trimester 1 2019/20 programme of CPD opportunities, offering over 50 workshops, webinars, and online courses designed to support colleagues who teach and/or support student learning.

Following the success of our annual DigiFest, we have scheduled monthly bitesize online courses on Canvas, Twitter, and Open Educational Resources, as well as short webinars on the use of Poll Everywhere and Zoom to increase student engagement with their learning.

Other webinars explore key themes for integrating employability through active and authentic learning, while our Third Wednesday webinar series features developing a claim for senior/principal fellowship of the HEA, Student Assessment, and LibGuides

Our innovative series of Talking about Teaching seminars will continue to explore learning challenges, and curriculum design, with ARU and guest hosts.

Develop and share ideas for active inclusive learning and teaching at one of our new brownbag sessions.

As well as scheduled activities, we can also facilitate bespoke workshops to meet faculty needs.  There is a wealth of support for learning and teaching on the AL&T website and Canvas, including resources and presentations from previous events.

ALT’s Centre for Innovation in Higher Education (CIHE) has also planned a range of themed pedagogic research meetings, writing cafes and retreats for those engaged or interested in pedagogic research.

You can browse and book onto our CPD opportunities online, the full programme is also available to download.
