We're proud to host the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) Research Centre, which was launched in 2017.
The centre manages the Veterans and Families Research Hub (VFR Hub), provides advice and support to FiMT and other organisations and individuals, produces Snapshots (research summaries covering a range of topics) and organises an annual conference and awards event to celebrate and present recent research supporting veterans and their families.
Visit the FiMT Research CentreThe need for a research hub to improve understanding of veterans and families was first identified in 2014 by FiMT and Lord Ashcroft.
The VFR Hub has been designed to “provide an accessible, contemporary and authoritative repository of UK and international research-related resources and literature on military veterans and their families, including transitions to civilian lives, that informs and stimulates research, policy development, improved service delivery and journalistic enquiry”.
Visit the Hub to access research on a huge range of themes and topics, including our Snapshot research summaries, and to connect with like-minded people from around the UK and across the world. You can sign up to become a registered user for enhanced benefits and tailored information to suit your own research interests.
