MA Science Fiction and Fantasy
10 February 2020
Studying MA Science Fiction and Fantasy felt like the natural evolution of both my studies and my interests.
[It's] an opportunity to broaden my horizons on an interesting course that I’ve never seen before.
Being able to learn from a distance helps the course feel less stressful and allows for more comfortable time management.
The majority of other students are more experienced than I am, allowing for a unique environment to bounce ideas off others. Everyone is welcoming and accepting, from fellow students to lecturers and guest speakers.
The wide variety of reading material has forced me to read and watch science fiction and fantasy media that I’ve come to enjoy, but might never have checked out otherwise. The opportunity to discuss these works every week with others who also love the genres helps me further engage with the material.
Frank studies MA Science Fiction and Fantasy at ARU in Cambridge. If you're interested in studying for a Masters, book your place on our next Open Day, and come and explore.
