Your first day

During your induction you’ll find out what to expect on your course and meet the key people in your faculty. You’ll learn about student life and there’ll be opportunities for you to get to know the people you'll be studying with.

Your online course induction will take place online on Canvas (our learning management system), so whether you’re studying your course on campus or online for the first trimester, you'll receive all the information you need to get started.

In addition to your online course induction, you’ll also invited to come and meet your lecturers and new classmates at an on-campus faculty day. It’s optional to attend, but a great opportunity to start making friends and find your way around campus before your teaching starts.

You’ll receive an email from your Admissions Tutor telling you when your course induction will take place and how to access it, so look out for an email from This email will include links so you can book to attend your on-campus faculty day.
