During your induction you’ll find out what to expect on your course and meet the key people in your faculty. You’ll learn about student life and there’ll be opportunities for you to get to know the people you'll be studying with.
COVID-19 is still with us and will be for the foreseeable future. The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We continue to follow Government advice and monitor the situation carefully. If there are any changes to our plans for the trimester or for your course induction, we will communicate these with you. Please keep an eye on your emails.
If you’ve got any questions, email us at email@example.com
Depending on your course, you may see 2 events on your welcome week timetable, one online and one on campus.
Your online course induction will take place online on Canvas (our learning management system). Check your inbox for an email from us called “Your joining instructions” where you’ll find the link to your course induction Canvas site, the date of your first session and all the information you need to get started.
Depending on your course, in addition to your online course induction, you’ll also be invited to come and meet your lecturers and new classmates at an on-campus faculty day. It’s a great opportunity to start making friends and find your way around campus before your teaching starts.
If you've started your course late and missed your Student Life talk or course induction, don't worry! Just take a look at the information on our Late Arrivals page and read the checklist to see what you need to do to catch up.
If you are an international or EU student you can access the information online this year. If you've missed your International Orientation, please check the information on the Late Arrivals page.
