Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on the 4th January, we have taken the decision to temporarily suspend all women's national league basketball team activity during the national lockdown.

Head of the basketball programme Matthew Harber commented, "The welfare of our students and our basketball community remains our top priority and once again we have taken a decision which prioritises the health of our players, coaching staff and officials".

He went on to say, "We will continue to evaluate the situation nationally and locally and continuously assess the viability and safety of another return to basketball."

The team is currently unbeaten in WNBL division one league action, with a 3-0 record, having recorded wins against City of London Southwark Pride, Team Solent Kestrels and Nottingham Trent University.
