#IIOC17 conference

The #IIOC17 was an event hosted specifically for both practitioners and researchers who were interested in tackling indecent imagery of children (IIOC) offending.

Jointly hosted by Norfolk Constabulary and the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER) at Anglia Ruskin University, this ground-breaking conference brought together leading figures from government, police, third sector, academia and industry to discuss new approaches to the investigation and prevention of IIOC offending.

The conference was a great success and was attended by more than 150 practitioners and academics. Here's what some of them had to say about the event:

"Probably the best conference I’ve ever been to – try and secure space in your diaries for this event!"

Jon Burgess, Detective Chief Inspector, Crime & Public Protection Command
