Medical Technology Research Centre (MTRC) aims to research and develop novel biomedical technology solutions for healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical engineering, and medical devices sectors.
The Centre draws expertise and skills from the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care and the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Previously, a number of associated research groups have made significant benefits to people’s health through their research and development activities. We are now in a position to have a greater impact by bringing these groups under a single research centre to promote interdisciplinary collaborations.
