Learn about objects in Cambridge museums with hidden LGBTQ+ history from tour guides from the Bridging Binaries LGBTQ+ tours project, followed by a discussion on why certain stories get told more than others, and how we might go about making sure that Queer narratives get the chance to be heard.

With Jasmine E Brady, Lucian Stephenson and Beckett Thornber.

Jasmine graduated from ARU with an MA Illustration and Book Arts 2016-2017. Jasmine now co-leads the Front of House team at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. She is also a Fitzwilliam representative for the Change Makers Action Group for the University of Cambridge Museums (UCM) and has been heavily involved in the UCM initiatives Bridging Binaries LGBTQ+ Tours and the Museum Remix project. Outside of museum work, Jasmine occasionally works as a freelance illustrator and musician.

Event presented as part of the ARU programme of events to support LGBT+ History Month and the ARU Be Inspired event series where alumni share their experiences and achievements since graduating.
