The Mifune Tsuji Trio – Mifune Tsuji on violin, Jin Theriault on saxophone and Paul Jackson on piano – return with a concert of 20th- and 21st-century music reflecting the theme of Environment. The concert includes 'Music For' by the American composer John Cage, 'Rain Tree Sketch' by Tōru Takemitsu, 'Fushicho' (Phoenix) by Ryo Noda, 'Plush Earth in Four Pieces', by Tonia Ko, and the premiere of a new work, 'Brilliant Bursts of Climacteric Splendor', by the trio's pianist, Paul Jackson.
