Hear the unique and wonderful world of Yellowstone’s geothermal features in a completely new way.
Geysers, hot springs and fumaroles become a musical piece using a scientific process that associates physics characteristics to melodies, harmonies and rhythms.
This work has been developed by music composer and scientist, Dr Domenico Vicinanza (ARU) and Genevieve Williams (University of Exeter), drawing on their extensive work on Yellowstone National Park. It will be performed by classical violinist, Katherine Sung.
