Nature is good for you, but how can you make the most of it?

We’ve been spending more and more time outdoors – partly because there was no other option, but also because it supported our physical and mental health.

The rise in popularity of ‘nature therapy’, where people are prescribed to take time out in nature, just goes to show how seriously the positive impacts of it are being taken.

However, there’s different types of nature, from the sea (blue space) to the land (green space). There’s also lots of different activities you can do outside.

Is there a way to maximise the wellbeing effects of your outdoor experiences?

Psychologist Prof Viren Swami (ARU) will take you on a journey into how different ‘types’ of nature and activities affect your wellbeing, and what you can do to reap the most benefits.
