I'm third-year student in economics, I really enjoyed all the modules covered from the more mathematical such as econometrics to the more philosophical for example behaviour economics.

The reason I choose this course was for my interest in the economy and all the different policies applied in every country around the world; due to globalization, the relation between each other is becoming stronger and stronger. I was interested to understand the function of each member of the economy such as: households, banks, companies, and the state; each of them were analysed from a microeconomic and macroeconomic perspective.

Another aspect in which a was interested in was finance, in fact, we covered in class different topics in which I was really interested, for example, how the 2008 financial crisis took place and the consequences on the economy.

From a skill and attitude viewpoint economics perfectly suits who like mathematics and statistics, however, it is not necessarily important to have a strong background in these subjects because they will be analysed during the course. Moreover, being analytical is very important in the course dig up in the data, and analyse all the information.
