The Newton Fund aims to develop science and innovation partnerships that promote the economic development and welfare of developing countries.
The fund is £75 million each year from 2014 for five years. We expect that the UK funding will lead to extra funding from:

The countries we can work with under the fund are: China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Egypt and Kazakhstan.
