Hi! My name is Rubina Begum and I am 20 years old, studying midwifery at Anglia Ruskin University. I am living my parents which is useful when studying an intense course like midwifery. I have finished my first year and it has been the most amazing year. The course keeps me very busy but in my free time I tend to catch up with friends and family members.

My last placement was on a midwife-led care unit which was my best placement so far; the unit allows women that have had a low-risk pregnancy a normal physiological birth in a calm and homely atmosphere. Read more…
