Student Ambassador

Hi, I’m Lucie and I am in my second year at Anglia Ruskin University, studying BA (Hons) Early Childhood Professional Studies at the Chelmsford campus.

I am a mature student, and I am also the course representative for my year group.

Alongside early education and childhood, I have a passion for writing. Last year I signed a two book-deal with publishing giants, HarperCollins, for my commercial women’s fiction titles. It is an amazing achievement and I hope to, one day, extend my writing credentials to children’s books and academic writing within the early childhood field, merging my two passions.

I hope you enjoy following my journey. I aim to provide you with a collection of posts both as a representation of my course and what ARU has to offer, and personally how I deal with student life both as a mature student and alongside my writing.

My ultimate career goal? To be back at ARU as a member of staff sharing my knowledge and experience as a lecturer in early childhood, alongside sharing my writing as an author in various capacities.
