Call: Learning and Teaching Project Proposals

Our Learning and Teaching Project Scheme enables individuals and teams to apply for financial assistance (up to £3,500) to support pedagogic development and research projects.

Proposals for funding should address aspects of learning, teaching and assessment that are of particular value to the achievement of themes in our Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Strategy:

  1. Developing academic practice
  2. Assessment and feedback for effective learning
  3. Student engagement
  4. Quality enhancement

Call for contributions: Engage conference

We've opened the call for session proposals for our annual learning and teaching conference, Engage. The conference takes place on 26 June in Chelmsford. Presenters can choose from a full paper presentation (20 minutes plus 10 minutes of questions), a workshop (50 minutes plus 10 questions) or a poster.

Student Mental Health: The Role of Experience of Academics

The student mental health charity Student Minds have released their report Student Mental Health: The Role and Experience of Academics. The report provides new insights into the role of academics in supporting student mental health.
