School of Economics, Finance and Law roles

Thank you for your interest in a role at the School of Economics, Finance and Law. We combine a strong research culture with excellence in teaching and learning and we are seeking to use our growth to develop an academic team with a love of teaching and a passion for applied research in international business, economics, finance and law.

The University has three research centres linked to the School: Centre for Access to Justice and Inclusion, Centre for Applied Business and Economics Research and Evaluation (formally the Centre for Pluralistic Economics) and Centre for Intelligent Supply Chains. We are focused on impactful research and all new appointees would be linked to one of our research centres to support your passion for research.

ARU is known for being imaginative in the advancement of knowledge and working creatively in collaboration with its diverse student body, enabling a vibrant learning community. We can therefore foster your love of teaching with the opportunity to make a difference for our students.

We are proud to hold a Bronze Athena Swan award in recognition of our commitment and advancement of gender equality, and through our Race Equality Committee we are determined to address racism in its various forms. We are recognised as a Disability Confident Employer and a Mindful Employer for our commitment to workplace inclusivity.

We are known for being welcoming, with an agile working culture open to flexible working options including job share. As well as extensive benefits including a generous relocation package, you will have access to wellbeing, learning and development support to ensure you thrive at ARU.

If you are interested in joining us to develop collaborative research and knowledge exchange and to share this with our students, then I hope you’ll express an interest in joining us. I look forward to welcoming you to the School of Economics, Finance and Law.
