The delivery of a University-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) will allow us to effectively manage both external partners (B2B) opportunities and implementation of a CRM solution for our Talent, Skills, Innovation and Business Support focus, and opportunities covering the full student lifecycle (B2C).

The CRM focused team will consist of a Product Manager, Senior Solutions Developer and Application Analyst, specialist knowledge partners working together to successfully launch our new CRM system to enhance our IT systems and services.

CRM Product Manager

In this role, you will support in the development, implementation and maintenance of our new Dynamics 365 CRM system. Working within multi-disciplinary teams to develop the strategic direction, experience design, prototyping, build and product capability enhancement.

You will be responsible for leading the CRM product lifecycle in consultation with system owners to define short to medium term product strategies and delivery of the product roadmap whilst staying connected with the CRM supplier to keep up to date with their product roadmap and identify potential opportunities.

You will have previous experience in taking a product plan from strategy to execution and working effectively in cross-functional teams including alongside UX Designers, Developers or Business Analyst combined with demonstrable project management experience and a strong understanding of user-centred design, agile delivery and/or application of product design, prototyping approaches and frameworks, eg Lean Start-up, Design Sprint etc.

CRM Senior Solutions Developer

In this role, you will be the technical lead in designing, developing, releasing and supporting software solutions, applications, and integrations relating directly and indirectly to our new Dynamics 365 CRM system.

You will be responsible for ensuring solutions developed are effectively transitioned into operation, whether as part of a project or service enhancement whilst ensuring appropriate testing, user acceptance and support processes are in place. In addition, you will ensure DevOps practices, where appropriate are followed effectively, ie cloud development, continuous integration/deployment pipelines are implemented and maintained and lead in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

You will have demonstrable experience of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI and solutions/software development using Microsoft development tools (.Net) plus developing solutions in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle

You are well organised with a flexible approach and able to work collaboratively across disciplines to establish innovative ideas and implement designs. You have previously mentored or coached junior team members and thrive working on own initiative with the ability to work methodically and analytically. You possess excellent communication interpersonal skills and a strong customer-centric ethos.

CRM Application Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, configuration and support of the CRM and its integration to deliver new capabilities and functionality to the university. You will ensure solutions delivery working with project teams on documentation of requirements through to eventual user guides and service transition. In addition, you will be expected to liaise with ITS colleagues and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed, implemented and adopted to create an excellent customer experience.

You will be responsible for providing application support and management service for the university CRM applications and to make certain the system's performance and availability. You will support on the service transition into operation of new CRM applications or changes to existing applications, whether as part of a project or minor upgrade, by ensuring appropriate testing, release management, 3rd party contracts and application maintenance support processes are in place.

With demonstrable experience in CRM management on a medium to large scale MS Dynamics environment, including upgrades, software updates, functionality and product release management, you will have a history of working within a project solutions environment, including authorship of analysis, design and solutions documents. You would have previously provided software and systems support to end-users, requirements gathering, analysis and testing of systems, including non-functional requirements and experience in system configuration and administration.

You thrive working as part of a team paired with the ability to work on own initiative managing priorities and independent research of best practice solutions and technologies. You have a methodical and analytical approach with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience.  You possess excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and customer focused.
