Opportunities in the Faculty of Science and Engineering

We are seeking to appoint both full-time and part-time professors and associate professors to further strengthen our research across our Schools.

At ARU, these roles will involve both teaching and research, and you'll assist the faculty leadership team in enhancing and improving the University’s international standing in your academic field. You will demonstrate academic leadership in your subject, and a willingness to support others to achieve research excellence.

You will have an established track record of producing research outputs that are internationally excellent in terms of originality, significance and rigour, as well as a track record in securing research funding. With a PhD and preferably a post-graduate teaching qualification, you’ll have extensive experience of teaching and expertise as an academic researcher and/or knowledge exchange.

You’ll have excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage change and to think innovatively and creatively. You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative and supportive leadership style, and ideally should be able to make a significant contribution to one of our ARU-wide Research, Innovation and Impact Themes: Health, Performance and Wellbeing; Sustainable Futures; Safe and Inclusive Communities.
