We are seeking to appoint Professors and Associate Professors to further strengthen our research across the two Schools of Nursing and Midwifery at our Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are under-represented in research posts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Mathematics (STEMM) at ARU. Appointments will always be made on merit.
Your role will form part of a growing team of research leaders supporting the expansion of research in Adult Nursing, Children’s Nursing and Midwifery in the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care, and to develop an innovative portfolio of research that will be an integral part of developing our Research Centre in Nursing and Midwifery. You will have extensive experience as an academic researcher and/or knowledge exchange with the ability to represent our faculty and work actively and co-operatively with partners, external bodies, other faculties, and our support services to promote our reputation and foster collaborative links.
You will have an established track record in leading or supporting the development of a faculty and school research vision and Institutional strategic plan. You will demonstrate leadership in your subject and willingness to support others to achieve research excellence. With a PhD and NMC registered, you will be a strategic and analytical thinker with strong communication and relationship building skills.
