We’re committed to doing all we can to reduce the environmental impact of traffic travelling to our events and promote the use of public transport wherever possible. We’ve partnered with Stagecoach East and Greater Anglia who both offer free travel to our next campus Open Day.
Stagecoach East is providing free travel via bus for our Cambridge and Peterborough campuses.
Once you have signed up to an Open Day at ARU, we will send you a discount code for a ticket. This is valid for one person to access a day return ticket on Saturday 7 June 2025 only. You'll need to download the Stagecoach App, register for an account, select a Megarider Plus Day Ticket and input this discount code to receive the day ticket for free. Through the app, if you are happy to be updated, Stagecoach will provide you with details of bus services and fare offers which will be of use to you while studying at ARU. This ticket is only valid for one person.
For more information, visit the Stagecoach East website.
We've partnered with Greater Anglia to provide you with free train travel to and from Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough if accompanied by a fare-paying guest.
Please note: this offer only applies to journeys between stations on the Greater Anglia network.
To redeem the offer, you'll need to book your tickets by 9am five days before the event. Greater Anglia train tickets are sent by post.
If there are engineering works you may need to catch a rail replacement bus. Your free train ticket covers this bus travel.
When claiming your train ticket use code 'ARUCBG' for Cambridge, 'aruchm' for Chelmsford, or ‘ARUOpen’ for Peterborough.
